Lee Filters

ND Grad Sets - Seven5 System

These sets for the LEE Seven5 System contain three Neutral Density Graduated Filters which adjust the exposure by 1, 2 and 3 stops (ND 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9) with your choice of soft, medium or hard gradation. Each set offers great versatility and allows for precise correction in a broad range of lighting conditions.

ND Grads enable the photographer to adjust exposure over part of the photograph without effecting colour balance. For example, when photographing a landscape in which the sky is much brighter than the foreground, placing the Neutral Density part of the filter onto the sky in the frame will reduce the sky exposure without effecting the foreground. This enables cloud detail to be kept correctly exposed and avoids the “white out” effect caused by exposing for the foreground.

Sets are available in range of gradations between the coated and clear areas of the filter.

Set contains 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9 ND Grads with your chosen gradation

Hard & Soft ND Grads with Joe Cornish

Hard Gradation

The hard gradation is perfect for horizons, or any hard transition between the sky and land. These filters give great control over the exposure.

Soft Gradation

The soft gradation is ideal when there is no definite transition between sky and foreground, for instance woodland, mist & interiors.

Medium & Very Hard ND Grads with Joe Cornish

Medium Gradation

The medium gradation is perfect to filter the sky with minimal impact on the land. Ideal when elements like rooftops and mountains protrude into the sky.

Very Hard Gradation

The very hard gradation is not available for the Seven5 System. These filters already have a tighter gradation for the smaller sensors and a very hard grad is not practical to produce.
